2017 High Desert Challenge

SVRA competitors are invited to participate in the High Desert Challenge, a cooperative event with VARA. The 2-day event will offer races for all SVRA race groups on the challenging, 9-turn, 2.5-mile track.

The Night Enduro is a tradition at this event and provides a unique and challenging on-track experience. A party for all competitors and crew members will be held at the track on Saturday evening. A Friday test day is being offered by the track.

The Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli marks its return to the West with the launch of the Trans Am West Coast Championship. After a many year absence, the high horse power muscle cars will once again challenge this historic track. Willow Springs is known as a big bore track, and is a perfect venue for the return of this great American racing series.

Willow Springs Raceway was first opened in 1953, and is listed as a California Point of Historical Interest. The track has hosted this event since 1998. Lodging is available at the numerous motels located about 20 miles away in Lancaster.
